What’s on in Cambridge this bank holiday weekend?

It’s almost time for the summers last long weekend, and this bank holiday, on the 25th August, it looks like we’re going to get a little sunshine!!! So how are you going to entertain the kids?? Well, if you don’t want to spend the whole weekend in traffic travelling to and from park resorts here’s something fun closer to home…

Audley End House is having a super, fun packed and informative weekend for kids of all ages, hosting WWII: SOLDIERS AND SPIES.  They are planning an “explosive action packed weekend” giving children an interactive account of what life was like during the war – from the drama of the battle field, the difficulties at home,  to the enjoyment of 1940’s dance halls.  And be sure not to miss the river assault!

And for the adults, the home and gardens are still open for you to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the incredibly beautiful grounds, and marvel at the stunning architecture and furnishings. As you know we at Art of Clean have quite a penchant fine furnishings!!! Especially beautiful fine rugs, silk rugs, Persian rugs, Chinese rugs….I could go on.  Audley end have wonderful collection of fine antique rugs on show that we are just so pleased to see them being cared for and preserved so that they will look glorious for years to come.

Have a fantastic weekend, and if you realise your rugs may need a little TLC to bring them back to their glory days then contact Art of Clean for a chat about our professional services us on 01223 863632 or visit www.artofclean.co.uk – just remember we are closed this bank holiday but back on Tuesday the 26th.
