Art of Clean would like to hear from you!

There is no job to big or to small for the Art of Clean team, but is there something we are missing?

Over the past decade, we have naturally grown to understand our loyal fan base and customers and we thank you for your loyal service.  Something else we have enjoyed doing is bringing you all the news, top-tips and jobs we're working on and what is happening at the Art of Clean, via our social media channels, but we realise you'll be carrying out your own projects. And we would like to hear from you.  So if you have a question or are looking for some advice, send us a picture, or tweet us with a question.

What effect will sunlight have on my wood floor

After a certain amount of time the sun will discolour your wooden floor, some floor finishes such as lacquers and oils which contain UV blockers can slow down this process, but you will still find that it will change colour over a certain amount of time.
sun damage on wood floor

To reduce the amount of fading on your wooden floor it would be advisable to move the furniture around your room frequently, you could also try drawing your curtains in summer at the sunniest time of day to reduce the amount of discolouration of your floor.
The photo below is where a rug had been placed on the wooden floor and had stopped the sun from bleaching out the colour.
