Day 2: We are having fun at Hanta Systems in Athens. Pierre is looking at the rug washing machine!
Day 3: Flokati rugs are made in Greece. They are made of long lambs wool. It is sad that the Chinese and Indian copies are greatly imported and therefore killing the local rug manufacturing market.
Day 4: marble floor at the Parliament. Every where you walk in Athens you walk on marble floor. The changing of the guard on a old and used marble floor!
Day 5: The ruins of the Temple of Delphi visible today date from the 4th century BC, and are of a peripteral Doric building. The marble steps looks so good after so many years. We also went to the museum. Great trip!
Day 6: on our trip to Greece learning more about rug cleaning and stone floors we saw this guy cleaning an entrance to a hotel made of marble
Day 7: today we took a trip to 3 Greek islands - Hydra, Aegina and Porous. We found a rug store on the way as well as a tapestry loom (machine used to weave fabrics)
