Carpet Maintenance:
Regular vacuuming of carpet areas help removes dry soil. Dry soil acts as an abrasive that will ware your soft plush carpet fibres out and retire your carpet to an early grave. In this day and age we all want to make the most from our investment.
Choosing the correct vacuum cleaner is just as important as vacuuming in the firs place. I always advise clients to look for the following when choosing a machine?
Upright vacuum cleaning with disposable bags.
Hepa filer system
Beater/brush bar. This lifts much more of the dry soil out of the carpet than a straight forward “sucking machine”
Always remember empty your vacuum on a regular basis – Do not use it over half full.
Vacuum slowly and in two directions – It does not help you rush the job. Do it right or don’t do it at all.
