Restoration of imprinted concrete or stamped concrete

Imprinted concrete or patterned concrete sometime referred as stamped concrete, is concrete that has been dyed, transformed and shaped to resemble a number of other construction materials (like brick, flagstone, tile and wood). You will be able to do the same thing with asphalt or stone but imprinted concrete now has more colours options and patterns available to suit your need. Patio Cleaning Cambridge

It’s finally spring, and it’s this time of year when we look at the damage the winter has done to our gardens. Most gardens need a major clean up, and cleaning decking and a patio is a vital part of making a garden look good.

Recently Art of Clean were called out to a home in Cambridge to get rid of the build up of algae and dirt from wooden decking and patio tiles.

The cleaning technicians on this job were Marty Johnson and Mark Lloyd. The first stage of the cleaning was to clean and sand down the boards on the wooden decking with a jet wash to remove the algae. We then waited for them to dry before sanding and staining them.

The patio tiles were very dirty, so we used a rotary cleaner, which causes less splashing than an ordinary jet wash, and gives a deeper clean, resulting in a really clean patio. After cleaning we then pointed the tiles and sealed them with exterior tile cleaner, which will help to keep them looking as good as new.
