Flooring and soft furnishing care Technician (Full Time)

The position is a very rewarding experience for both you as the technician as well as the clients you will come into contact with. No previous experience is required, but your ability to learn fast and work with people is a must.

Good communication skills, outgoing personality and enthusiasm to do a good job will be essential. The role could lead to specialist floor care (Carpet, Stone and Wood floor restoration and some external cleaning). Full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be bright and energetic with a positive attitude. You are neat and presentable in appearance and take pride in the work that you do.

The ability to solve problems by yourself would be essential.

Tasks will include: Carpet Cleaning, Soft Furnishing Care, wood floor sanding, Stone floor cleaning and polishing, Oriental Rug Cleaning. There will be a program available to train you as a wood floor installation technician over a period of time if you feel this is what you wish to do.

The role will involve manual labour, so you have a good work ethic. You are teachable, honest and trustworthy and hold a full, clean UK driving license (You must be Over 25 years in order that we can insure you on our commercial vehicle insurance policy). Own reliable transport to and from work will be required (Working from Chittering just outside Waterbeach)

Full training and support is provided including training to become IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification) qualified.

Your working hours will vary but will normally be around 8-9 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, with a start time normally between 7.15 am to 7:30 am.

CRB checks will be carried out.

Part Time Dry-cleaning shop assistant (Part Time)

Part Time Dry-cleaning shop assistant required for a potentially busy dry cleaner opening in Milton Road Cambridge.

You have an Enthusiastic personality with a keen desire of cooperation. A patient and kind attitude to serve your clients well. You have a very tolerant attitude with an eye for detail and high standards.

You can self manage your day and work just as well as part of a team.

Your drive for goals make you open minded to a performance based bonus system. You have a curious nature and would therefore love to be trained in many aspects of the business. The business owner beliefs in allowing team members freedom to take responsibility for the operation and will be there to support and encourage you. You have the need to make this a long-term career move.

Hours will Monday to Friday 8am – 530 pm and Saturday 8:30 am till 3pm. You will be required to be able to cover these hours on a rota basis 20 – 30 hours per week in and out of school term.

Office administrator (Part Time)

This role requires someone that is highly organised and loves to work under pressure while staying cool and calm. You can meet deadlines and love a challenge. You have great communication skills on the phone. Your desire is to serve each client as best you can rather than to answer as many calls as you can. Work Hours will be 4 days per week and one of the days has to be a Friday.
