Marble is quarried from a number of countries around the world, each with its own individual, natural characteristics. Sadly marble from the UK tends to be Purbeck, a dull, Gray/Brown colour, but by contrast and if you're willing to go a touch wider afield, you can get pretty much whatever colour tiling you can dream of.

Attention to detail is key, especially when it comes to flooring that has weathered the elements for the better part of 400 million years. The last thing you want is someone who doesn't know what he/she is doing. Look at that fellow below, now there's attention.
Here's the technical stuff:
Step one: Inspection
Identify any stains that need removal, loose grout or generally sensitive areas.
Step Two: Protection
Safeguard the walls and furniture against spray and splash.
Step Three: Dry Soil Removal
Removal of dry dirt prior to cleaning.
Step Four: Application
Applying the cleaning solution via either a sprayer or directly from a container.
Step Five: Agitation
A rotary cleaning system is employed either by machine or hand.
Step Six: Drying
This can take up to twelve hours in some cases.
Step Seven: Polishing
Using diamond encrusted rotary pads we smooth and polish the life back into the marble.
Step Eight: Impregnation
The technical part that simply means protecting your marble.
And that's it done.
This is what comes from a good cleaning and buffing. Look at the sheen on that! It seems a shame to put the furniture back.
