As one of Cambridge's largest Flooring and Soft Furnishing Care Companies, Art of Clean, is enjoying remarkable growth and therefore seeks a Multi-Skilled Technician with great ambition to join our friendly and fast growing team.
The position is a very rewarding experience for both the technician as well as the clients you will come into contact with. No previous experience is required, but your ability to learn fast and work with people is a must.
Good communication skills and enthusiasm are essential. The role could lead to specialist floor care (Carpet, Stone and Wood floor restoration and some external cleaning). Full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be bright and energetic with a positive attitude. You are neat and presentable in appearance and take pride in the work that you do. The ability to solve problems by yourself would be essential.
Tasks will include: Carpet Cleaning, Soft Furnishing Care, wood floor sanding, Stone floor cleaning and polishing, Oriental Rug Cleaning.
The role will involve a great amount of manual labour, so you have a good work ethic. You are teachable, honest and trustworthy and hold a full, clean UK driving license (You must be Over 25 years in order that we can insure you on our commercial vehicle insurance policy). Own reliable transport to and from work will be required (Working from Chittering just outside Waterbeach)
Full training and support is provided including training to become IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification) qualified. Wood floor restoration Training.
Your working hours will vary but will normally be around 8-9 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, with a start time normally between 7.30 am to 8.00 am.
