At a customers house in Royston, Cambridgeshire, whilst doing their annual carpet cleaning when we came across Moth damage in the corner of the carpet. You can see the carpet has lost some of the fibers - a tell tale sign of moth damage.
We found a dead moth on the carpet
And underneath the carpet was evidence of further moths, you can see the husks of the carpet moth larvae
Unfortunately moth damage can spread like wild-fire if not treated correctly and quickly.
