The Manufacture des Gobelins is a tapestry factory located in Paris, France, at 42 avenue des Gobelins, near the Les Gobelins metro station in the XIIIe arrondissement. It is best known as a royal factory supplying the court of Louis XIV and later monarchs; it is now run by the French Ministry of Culture, and open for guided tours several afternoons per week by appointment.

We spent one afternoon looking at the beautiful tapestries and the 5 ladies were weaving some tapestry as well. We were not allowed to take pictures while they were working but we took somes pictures in the museum.
We really recommend the visit!! The only thing I must say is that the tour is only in French...
